finding the right table
Which venue you'll be at, and getting there
Two restaurants share the booking in Ljubljana's old town — how venue assignment works, and how to find your way there on the night.
Check availability ↗Getting there, roughly
| From | How |
|---|---|
| Central Ljubljana / your hotel | A short walk to the old town, near the Triple Bridge |
| Further out in the city | Public transport into the centre, then on foot |
| A taxi or rideshare | Direct to the address confirmed with your booking |
Two restaurants, not one
The Traditional Slovenian Evening doesn't run from a single fixed address. It operates from two restaurants in Ljubljana's city centre, close enough to each other that the organisers describe them as roughly ten metres apart, and your group is placed in whichever one suits its size on the night.
Confirmed once you've booked
The exact venue is confirmed once your booking and payment go through, since your group's size decides which of the two restaurants you're placed in. Your booking confirmation carries the address from that point on.
Both sit in the old town
Whichever restaurant you're assigned, both sit inside Ljubljana's compact old town, close to the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje) and the Ljubljanica — ground most visitors are already covering on an evening stroll, rather than somewhere you'd plan a separate outing to reach.
Arriving on foot
Ljubljana's old town is small and largely pedestrianised at its core, so walking is the most practical way to arrive for most visitors staying centrally. Aim to arrive close to the welcome-drink time on your booking, since that's when the folk group greets guests at the door.
Coming from further out
If you're staying outside the immediate city centre, Ljubljana's public transport can get you into the centre, with the last stretch to either possible restaurant covered on foot once your booking confirmation tells you which one applies.
After the evening ends
With both venues in the old town, the walk back to most central Ljubljana accommodation is short, and the Triple Bridge and riverside make for an easy stroll if the night hasn't quite ended for you when the last dance has.
